Ederson has been the first-choice goalkeeper for Manchester City since joining them from Benfica in 2017.

The 31-year-old’s spell at Manchester City could come to an end at the end of this season.

That’s according to Foot Mercato, who state it’s an open secret that the stopper will leave Manchester City in the summer window.

Manchester City haven’t managed to challenge for the title or the Champions League this season.

They are in the fight to qualify for the Champions League and are planning to reshape the squad in the next window. As a part of this, the Brazil international would be allowed to leave the Etihad.

Al-Ittihad Club are looking at the Manchester City goalkeeper and have made him their priority target for the summer.

Al-Ittihad sporting director Ramón Planes has had meetings with Ederson’s agent in recent weeks and discussions continue between the parties.

The report states the Saudi club ‘continue to accelerate and intensify negotiations’ to secure Ederson’s services. There’s no mention of the fee they are willing to offer to Pep Guardiola’s side.

Predrag Rajković is the No.1 for Al-Ittihad and has been injured since the start of this month. The Brazilian can take his place if the Middle East club were to acquire his signature.
