Even though the loan of Nahuel Ferraresi from Manchester City to São Paulo was supposed to expire this summer, the player may not return to England anytime soon.
An update on this situation is brought by Brazilian journalist André Hernan, who says there are positive signs about the defender’s stay in South America.
One of the reasons Manchester City would accept the extension is that following a knee injury, the player would hardly have any market in Europe.
Ferraresi is happy at São Paulo and would be fine over staying there for longer. He’s now 24, and there aren’t any signs that Pep Guardiola would like to have him in his squad.
