In November, we covered claims from France which stated Manchester United are in the picture to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Randal Kolo Muani.
The striker has clocked in 87 minutes since October’s international break and hasn’t made an appearance for over a month.
Manchester United are among the clubs to have made approach for the 26-year-old in the winter market, according to Le Parisien.
Recent claims have talked about Aston Villa’s interest, but Le Parisien rule that out.
They add two other Premier League sides have shown ‘more serious interest’ and the Red Devils are one of them.
Manchester United reportedly had interest in the France international even before he joined the Ligue 1 winners from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2023.
The report states the English club have maintained contacts with his entourage and could consider signing him in January. As well as Ruben Amorim’s side, Tottenham Hotspur are the other English club keen about him.
PSG know Kolo Muani’s interested parties aren’t willing to pay a fee and are open to a loan move with a purchase option.
Both the Frenchman and PSG are clear that a solution has to be found in this window. Le Parisien add the frontman needs to make a decision on his future as he also has Juventus and AC Milan among his options.
Le Parisien’s claims don’t feel especially strong at this stage.
