Earlier today, Alfredo Pedullà stated Claudio Lotito wants to close the deal for Tottenham Hotspur star Hugo Lloris. He also said the Lazio president had a call with the goalkeeper’s entourage on Thursday evening.
The 36-year-old’s deal expires in 2024 and has already insisted he wants a move away from Spurs.
TuttoMercatoWeb state Lloris has now found an agreement with Tottenham for his exit.
The report focuses on the Serie A side’s interest in the Frenchman, who gave his approval to join them. They say today will be an important day for his potential arrival in Italy, where Ivan Provedel is the first-choice stopper for Maurizio Sarri.
TMW state the next few hours will be key to help the Lazio manager resolve doubts about this deal, as he felt the arrival of the retired France international could disrupt the dressing room atmosphere.
Lloris cannot be considered as a backup for Provedel but would arrive at the club with a view to be on the same level as the current no.1.
It’s claimed the Spurs goalkeeper is convinced and is ready to sign a two-year deal with Lazio but Sarri is ‘not yet’ convinced of this operation.
These are ‘decisive hours’ and Lloris has to wait and see if the manager will change his stance.
