Back on Wednesday, the Portuguese media reported that Sporting rejected an offer from Fulham for winger Jovane Cabral.
It was said the Whites tried to get the player on a loan deal, but the Lions were only interested in a permanent sale, and turned down the bid.
Now newspaper A Bola is back with an update today, making it clear that there are still some chances for this move to happen.
It’s claimed that after rejecting the loan offer, Sporting told Fulham they would like to make €15m from the player’s sale.
Jovane made 31 appearances for Sporting last season, scoring four goals and making eight assists. Previous reports said Fulham didn’t want a loan with an obligatory buying clause, but perhaps that could be a solution to get this deal.
