Liverpool and Arsenal are among the clubs keen on Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman, according to a report from Italy.
The forward starred last season, scoring 20 goals and registering seven assists, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed.
Wednesday’s edition of Corriere della Sera covers Liverpool and Arsenal’ interest and the Serie A side’s requests.
New Atalanta manager Ivan Jurić was admitted to hospital in recent days with illness, whilst he’s thankfully improved, the manager wasn’t present when players returned for the start of pre-season training yesterday.
The newspaper describes how almost every player arrived for training and for the 27-year-old, they say he arrived with a ‘roaring engine’ and with two phones in his hand.
Corriere della Sera report there’ll be numerous calls from Nigeria international’s entourage as various clubs are looking at him. Liverpool and Arsenal are mentioned, along with Napoli and Barcelona.
It’s claimed the Italian club have set a €60m price and haven’t received an offer meeting their request so far.
At the start of this month, the same newspaper reported Arsenal didn’t intend to pay more than €50m for Lookman.
