On September 9th, we covered claims from Italy which stated Tottenham Hotspur are ready to launch an attack to sign Patrick Dorgu.
Two days later, Gazzetta dello Sport reported Chelsea are muscling in for the US Lecce star, after Tottenham showed interest. The 19-year-old has also caught the attention of Italian clubs.
A fresh report from Tutto Juve talks about Chelsea and Juventus interest in Dorgu.
Lecce appointed Luca Gotti as their new manager in March. He’s used the player mainly on left and right wings.
His impressive performances for the club helped him make his debut for Denmark earlier this month. Those performances have also attracted interest from several teams, including Chelsea.
It’s claimed the Denmark international’s qualities are ‘fascinating Chelsea’.
Dorgu’s deal lasts until 2027 and Lecce value him at €30m. This should be affordable for the Blues. At the same time, the Serie A side are working to extend the player’s contract as he’s ‘liked by many’ other teams.
Tutto Juve’s headline says ‘Dorgu towards Chelsea’.
