Abdallah Sima was loaned out to Brest in the summer transfer window by Brighton, who didn’t have space in their squad for the wide player.
After an impactful stint at Rangers, Sima has started to show his qualities at Brest.
The Brighton loanee has played three times in Ligue 1, and scored on his Champions League debut yesterday, helping his side beat Sturm Graz.
L’Equipe have some praise for the forward, stating that the player was ‘dangerous’ in the second half while having the room to cut inside and combine with Ludovic Ajorque.
The Senegal international seemed thrilled by his performance and the experience of playing in the Champions League with Brest.
He told Ouest after the game: “It’s an incredible feeling,”
This doesn’t just come as a positive for Sima, but also for Brighton, who have now sent the player out on four different loan deals.
His value will only increase due to a good loan spell and this can see the Seagulls either use him in their side or move him on for a decent fee.
