On Tuesday, Sports Digitale stated Fulham chief scout Brian Talbot has travelled to Turkey to hold preliminary talks with Beşiktaş over a deal for Semih Kılıçsoy.
The forward has starred for the Istanbul club this season, scoring 11 goals and registering two assists from 30 games, and majority of those goals were scored in 2024.
Kılıçsoy’s impressive performances have convinced Fulham to take further steps to sign him, according to Sabah.
Beşiktaş haven’t responded to the London club’s proposals because their leaders have no desire to let their star leave for €15m. The Black Eagles have informed Fulham and they would consider a sale if there was a higher offer.
Sabah say the Premier League side are keen on signing the Turkey U21 international and are likely to return with a new and improved offer.
There’s no mention of the fee they could put forward, but Beşiktaş have made it clear to them that an ‘irresistible offer’ is needed to sanction Kılıçsoy’s sale. His contract lasts until 2028 and that gives his club strength when negotiating with Fulham.
