Tottenham winger Bryan Gil has been urged to consider a move to Feyenoord strongly as he ‘would be excellent’ in the Eredivisie.
That’s according to Soccer News, who cover the player today as part of their series Feyenoord scout, which looks at potential options for the Dutch side.
They explain that Feyenoord have been struggling to find wingers who are up to the mark for a while now and it’s something they will need to look to rectify, either this month or in the summer.
Manager Arne Slot would very much like signings to be made and Tottenham’s’ Bryan Gil is ‘now the biggest name’ being linked with a move.
He’s struggled to impress at Spurs and has been loaned out in the last few seasons to the likes of Valencia and Sevilla, winning the Europa League with the latter last season.
They describe the winger as ‘a pleasure to watch’ and believe he would be ‘excellent in the Eredivisie’, a league they feel his particular skillset could be well matched to.
Indeed, they believe he would be a ‘special rental player’ for Feyenoord as Slot has a good track record working with left-wingers, and even turning them into successful players on the opposite flank.
All in all, the belief is that Tottenham man could flourish in the Eredivisie, and he should seriously consider the move, if it’s offered to him this month or even in the summer.
