Earlier this week, we covered claims from Spain which stated Crystal Palace are moving in for Atlético Madrid’s Reinildo Mandava. Fulham are also in the mix.
That’s at least what Africa Foot are reporting, and they state Crystal Palace have to battle it out with Fulham and others to sign the left-back.
Los Rojiblancos have offered the 31-year-old’s a short-term contract so that he’s in the squad until the Club World Cup. The defender will then be allowed to pick his next club and join them on a free transfer.
The former Lille man has caught the attention of several clubs and this includes Crystal Palace, Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur. The report mainly focuses on the Europa League winners and then mentions the Eagles and Marco Silva’s side.
According to Africa Foot, both Crystal Palace and Fulham are ‘in the running’ to sign the Mozambique international.
The FA Cup winners signed Ben Chilwell on loan from Chelsea, and he will return to his parent club. This leaves them with Tyrick Mitchell, who has a contract expires in June.
Crystal Palace would have a more urgent need than Fulham to sign a new left-back this summer.
