Following the recent links between Tottenham Hotspur and Genoa defender Radu Dragusin, his agent has now spoken about that rumour.
Florin Manea had today a long interview with outlet TuttoJuve, and at the end of the conversation, he was asked about the player’s future.
The journalists mentioned that Dragusin has been linked to the likes of Tottenham, Newcastle United and AC Milan, as well as other English clubs, and quizzed what he can say about that.
“I can say that there have been contacts, because he’s a player that several clubs like, but at the moment there are no official offers. He wants to finish the season with Genoa, then he will be focused on the Eur with his national team. We will talk with the club and we will take stock of the situation, so as to understand how things can evolve,” Manea told TuttoJuve.
Genoa may have only paid €7m to get the player signed from Juventus, but it’s been said that at least €30m would be needed to get him from the Serie A side now.
With his agent confirming that talks have been going on, we now wonder whether the clubs, like Tottenham, will actually move for a January move or if they’ll wait until the summer window, especially after Ange Postecoglou made it clear Spurs were in the market for a centre-back.
