Players from Brighton & Hove Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers may be pursued by Roma this summer, according to reports.
Newspaper Il Messaggero, relayed by Forza Roma, today features a story about the needs that José Mourinho’s side have for the upcoming transfer window.
It’s said that Roma have an urge to go after new fullbacks, regardless of the formations they’ll use next season.
That’s where Brighton and Wolves come in, as the Gialorossi are said to be ‘probing the field’ for some of the players.
Roma are reportedly interested in taking Pervis Estupinan from the Seagulls, as well as Nelson Semedo from the Molineux side.
We’re talking about a left-back and a right-back, so it pretty much sounds like José Mourinho could be going after both.
The report, however, doesn’t make it clear if Roma are ready to make their moves and place the bids for those players.
Estupinan has a contract with Brighton until 2027, and is valued by Transfermarkt at €20m. Semedo, meanwhile, is committed to Wolves until 2025 and has a market value of €15m.
