German side Nuremberg are eyeing up a future deal for youngster Stefanos Tzimas, with Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United already showing interest in him.
That’s according to SportBILD, who report that the 2. Bundesliga are eyeing up the Premier League money when it comes to their current loanee.
Tzimas joined the German side on loan from POAK Salonika in the summer and has managed five goals and one assist in nine games in the league so far this season.
The feeling is that he can ‘bring in a lot of money’ in the near future and Nuremberg hope to be the recipients of it.
They have a purchase option on the 18-year-old worth €18m and the plan is to activate this even if it is considered ‘absurdly high’.
That’s because Newcastle, Tottenham and West Ham have already ‘signalled their interest’ in signing Tzolis in the near future.
The hope for Nuremberg is to sell the striker for €20m plus to one of the Premier League sides and make themselves an immediate profit in the process.
Whether any of Newcastle, Tottenham or West Ham would be willing to pay such a price isn’t made clear but Nuremberg have a plan if they continue to show an interest.
