It appears that as well as signing Micky van de Ven, Tottenham could end up signing Victor Nelsson from Galatasaray as well.
The reason for that, according to Takvim in Turkey, is that Spurs will also get to offload Davidson Sánchez as part of the deal.
The Tottenham centre-back has been on the transfer list in London for quite some time now, and despite being once close to leaving for Spartak Moscow this summer, a new opportunity has appeared.
This is the chance of playing for Galatasaray next season, as he has been included in a counter-offer made by the Süper Lig club.
Takvim explain that Tottenham felt that €25m was too much for Nelsson, which is when the Turkish side asked if they would be willing to pay €13m on top of including Sánchez in the deal.
Tottenham apparently ‘welcomed this offer’ and have since agreed to send the Colombia international there.
It remains to be seen whether the Spurs man wants the move, but he is ‘expected to make his final decision’ soon.
If he does agree to a move to Galatasaray, then ‘official signatures’ will be made.
