Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Mo Dahoud appears to be closing in on a move to VfB Stuttgart, having been spotted arrived in the city this afternoon.
Journalist Patrick Berger provides the latest on the midfielder’s potential arrival from Brighton, sharing footage of the midfielder arriving in Stuttgart.
A report earlier today indicated that Stuttgart were in advanced negotiations with Brighton over a loan deal for the midfielder, which could become a permanent switch in the summer.
That was followed by an explanation that talks were certainly underway but proving difficult and Stuttgart were biding their time, waiting for a final offensive on deadline day of the January transfer window.
It seems they are confident of getting their man, though, with Dahoud already in Stuttgart a day ahead of that.
Whether that’s to finalise a move to the German side or simply forward planning on his part, isn’t made clear.
Perhaps it is just a case of everyone being logical and getting the Brighton man in place, ready to move at a minute’s notice should Stuttgart get a deal done late today or tomorrow as planned.
