Blackburn Rovers are keen on a move for Legia Warsaw’s Steve Kapuadi this summer, according to a report from Poland.
The centre-back left Wisła Płock for the Polish side in August 2023 and featured regularly this season, making 47 appearances in all competitions.
Recent claims from elsewhere have stated Union Berlin and Wolverhampton Wanderers are his suitors.
Goal.pl report Blackburn Rovers are now added to the list as they are looking to sign the 27-year-old.
Legia Warsaw sporting director Michał Żewłakow has expressed his desire to retain every player. The report says it won’t be easy with the DR Congo international, who is attracting a lot of interest.
Goal.pl focuses on Blackburn Rovers’ desire to bring the defender to the Championship. They add Valérien Ismaël’s side would only be willing to offer less than €2m for Kapuadi, who has a contract until 2026.
Transfermarkt currently value him at €3m, while the Polish club want around €5m to sanction his sale. In other words, Blackburn Rovers have to offer more than double what they are willing to propose.
