Two days ago, we relayed news from Italy that Arsenal are one of the clubs willing to pay €80m to sign Juventus’ Dušan Vlahović. It was also stated the Serie A side want at least €100m to start talks for a potential deal.
A fresh report from Tutto Juve provides an update on Arsenal’s plan to sign the 23-year-old.
It’s claimed the north London club continue to ‘maintain a high interest’ in the player, who was on their agenda in the last window.
Mikel Arteta’s side didn’t make a concrete move in the summer but the report says they plan to do so in January. Their efforts to try and secure the former Fiorentina man’s services will be met by resistance from the Old Lady.
The Turin club continue to receive interest from other clubs for the Serbia international, but they have no plans to part ways with him. It’s not mentioned if this is for the winter market or the stance is for beyond this season as well.
Arsenal are ‘thinking’ about Vlahović but Juventus aren’t interested in his exit right now. The latest claim dismisses an earlier report that the Italian club wanted €100m to open talks for a potential deal.
The frontman has four goals and an assist from six games this season.
