Almost forgotten at Manchester United, Andreas Pereira continues to be a thing in La Liga, where he spent the past two seasons on loan spells.
Now as his time at Valencia is over, it seems there’s some wish from other local clubs to get him for the next season, according to claims from Spain today.
Website El Gol Digital claims that it’s Betis who are interested in the midfielder, and have already opened talks with Manchester United for the transfer.
There’s no info whether it should be a permanent transfer or a loan spell. All the report says is that there’s the interest, and Betis ‘became one of the clubs everyone wants to join’.
El Gol Digital has never been a very reliable source for transfer rumours, so we obviously aren’t buying this story for now. However, it’s still interesting to read this kind of report and see how Pereira is seen in Spain at the moment. A youngster with potential, who’s attractive for aspirational mid-table clubs and probably not good enough for the top sides in Europe.
