“It’s done” – Player’s agent sure second Tottenham transfer sorted, could travel tomorrow

El Dia, who have been excellent from day one of the Juan Foyth drama, have two sides of the story on Saturday, seeming to edge with the one predicting a Tottenham transfer is close.

The Argentine newspaper quote an agent of the player saying: “It’s done.”

There’s even been suggestions to the newspaper that Foyth could travel to England, and London, this weekend, in order to complete a move to Tottenham.

The player’s side of a potential deal is very confident in the transfer, and that leads El Dia to talk generally about Argentina to England moves of the past, pointing out there hasn’t been as many as one may think.

Estudiantes, who had already agreed a deal to sell Foyth to PSG aren’t as sure, and a source at the club has told El Dia “it is a lie that there is agreement between the clubs”, and PSG are said to still be in the race.

It would be no surprise if, rather than the earlier claims of Tottenham beating PSG’s offer, Spurs have actually gone in a little lower, safe in the knowledge the player much prefers joining up with Mauricio Pochettino.
