The Portuguese media now confirms that following the agreement between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sporting for the transfer of Matheus Nunes, the player is about to complete the move to the Premier League side.

The first to show up with a story on the matter was Mais Futebol, as they write that the midfielder is ‘on the way’ to England to conclude the switch.

It’s said even though the deal between Wolves and Sporting is done, there are still contract details to be sorted, and that’s what the player will discuss when arriving, as the ‘coming hours will be decisive’.

Meanwhile, Record comes up with a similar story, pointing out that Nunes did not take part in the Lions’ training session today.

It’s claimed he flew to England ‘at the end of the morning’ and he’s now said to be finalising the agreement with Wolves and will sign for the Molineux side ‘in the coming hours’.

As previously reported, Bruno Lage’s side are paying an initial amount of €45m for the transfer.

Then there are the €5m depending on performance goals, with Sporting having 5% of a future move.
