Over the past week or so, Chelsea have found themselves in the press for reasons other than what has been going on on the pitch after the British Government imposed sanctions on their owner, Roman Abramovich.
The Russian oligarch, who was reportedly desperate to try and sell the club, has seen a potential sale slowed down, while the Blues a currently under what is effectively a severe transfer ban that sees them also unable to offer their current players new contracts.
Many have backed the sanctions on the Chelsea owner both from within and outside the football sphere, but there are some who aren’t exactly happy with what’s going on.
Speaking to YouTube channel Vyshli!, he said: “The most logical decision for him would be to take over CSKA Moscow, a club he has always sympathised with. He also has a good relationship with the current owner. I don’t think there are any other clubs. What is happening at Chelsea is a shame. Abramovich has held the club for many years.”
