As things stand, Ezgjan Alioski will leave Leeds United when his contract at Elland Road expires on June 30th.

Without a renewal, the left-back will leave the Whites as a free agent, and this specific situation has caught Galatasaray’s attention.

Over a week ago, we relayed news from Turkey the Süper Lig side prefer the current Leeds player over Patrick van Aanholt, whose contract at Crystal Palace runs down next month.

It was also explained the Turkish club have held talks with Alioski’s surroundings, but earlier claims of a deal being agreed have been repeatedly dismissed.

Fotospor now state Marcelo Bielsa’s man is the ‘most serious name’ Cim Bom are studying for the summer transfer window. He’s expected to sign a three-year contract, but ‘there is a problem’.

There’s uncertainty with the continuity of Abdürrahim Albayrak and Fatih Terim, the club’s vice-chairman and manager respectively.

When Alioski wanted to hold talks with Terim, he received a response saying the 67-year-old won’t be at the club next season.

The fullback then asked who would be Terim’s successor, and was told there’s still no clarity on this topic. Fotospor claim the North Macedonian was ‘surprised’ with these two responses, and is having second thoughts.
