Some very interesting information on the future of Viktor Gyokeres is brought by Swedish outlet Fotboll Direkt today.
The website reports that the striker is being called back from his loan spell at Swansea City, for whom he made 15 appearances this season.
His time back at Brighton & Hove Albion, however, won’t last long. It’s said the Seagulls will immediately loan him out to another Championship side.
The name of the club couldn’t be revealed, although Fotboll Direkt’s sources claim it’s one of the ‘most respected’ sides in the second tier, and he could even make his debut at the weekend.
It’s pointed that Legia Warsaw made an attempt to sign him on a permanent deal, but Brighton were demanding something around £1.5m, and the deal never happened.
Signed by the Seagulls in a €1m deal from Swedish side Brommapojkarna back in 2016, Gyokeres has already had loans at St. Pauli and Swansea City, and now seems to be going for his third consecutive spell.
