Following the announcements of Pedro Neto and Bruno Jordao from Lazio, Wolverhampton Wanderers could bring in yet another player from the Serie A side.

That man is Wallace, with whom Wolves have been linked rather consistently this summer without anything ever happening.

However, we all know that if Jorge Mendes wants a player to move to Molineux, like the aforementioned Portuguese pair, then that player tends to move to Molineux.

It’s stated by Il Tempo that Wolves have ‘turned their attention again’ to the Brazilian centre-back, but there remains the big issue regarding his work permit.

Previous reports suggested the 24-year-old does not meet the criteria for a work permit in the United Kingdom, with the biggest issue being his lack of appearances for Brazil, and Il Tempo bring it up again.

He has featured three times for their U23s, but that won’t be enough, and unless Wolverhampton pay a large fee or give him more wages than he deserves, then he’ll fail the process.

This seems a bit difficult to pull off, but if someone can work their magic to turn things around to get this over the line, it’s Jorge Mendes.
