Andre Silva is once again being linked with a move to Wolves this summer. Despite the signing of Raul Jimenez and a raft of clauses being activated, Silva continues to be pushed on to the Wolves agenda.

Moving to AC Milan from Porto last summer for around €38m, the young striker hasn’t been able to justify the fee. A good goalscoring record for Milan in European competition wasn’t backed up in Serie A.

With the club now in serious financial difficulties and suspended from European football for the next two seasons, it’s likely sales will need to happen quickly.

Silva is an obvious candidate and Gazzetta dello Sport state the Wolves and AS Monaco tracks are ‘still standing’.

Milan are said to want to cover their expenses which may mean the €38m less what has already been amortised through the accounts, because there’s surely no way they’re going to get the full amount.

It would be a big signing for Nuno Espirito Santo, who has worked with the player before at Porto, but it’s not going to be cheap.
