As Portuguese outlet A Bola today reports the list of scouts who were present at the match between Paços de Ferreira and Tondela on Monday night, they highlight the visit of a specific club.

That’s Wolverhampton Wanderers, who according to the newspaper, had an emissary watching the 1-1 draw.

A Bola doesn’t seem to have any clear information on potential targets for Wolves in that match, although they do make their visit the most highlighted in the story, despite the presence of Eintracht Frankfurt, Mainz, Real Zaragoza, Utrecht and Ferencvaros.

Wolves and other Premier League clubs are more used to being linked to players from Benfica, Braga, Porto and Sporting, and that’s why it’s hard to even guess who they could be watching last night.

Despite the equal score, Tondela’s performance got much more praise from the local media.

The away side relied on good performances from right wing back Tiago Almeida and winger Rafael Barbosa who may, perhaps, have drawn Wolves’ attention.
