During the January transfer window, we once again saw Adama Traore being linked to a move out of Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The winger was said to be a target for Napoli, who are pushing hard for the Serie A title this season and were trying to reinforce their squad.

Nothing happened, but as journalist Emanuele Cammaroto today features a story on Napoli Magazine, he claims there’s still a good chance to sign Traore from Wolves in the summer.

The story is actually about the many moves the Serie A side may be making in the next few months, and when speaking of the winter, there’s a line telling how possible that signing is.

“Adama Traore has opened up completely to Napoli and has many chances of being the heir to Lozano.”

Traore’s contract with Wolves expires at the end of the season, and despite the many stories about the Molineux side trying to extend his deal with the club, there’s been no agreement with him yet.

With the player holding his future in his hands, he’s obviously checking the possibilities he has for the summer, and Napoli start looking like strong contenders to land him by then.
