Greek website Sportime.Gr claim West Ham United are interested in signing Olympiacos’ Portuguese goalkeeper Jose Sa.

The 26 year old, who has recently been selected for the Portugal national team, has been in excellent form for his club this season, playing 20 games and keeping 12 clean sheets.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side have been having problems in goal with Lukasz Fabianski sidelined with injury and his deputy Roberto’s failing to convince with his recent displays.

The former FC Porto player is a Jorge Mendes’ client and could be looking to get a move to the Premier League at this stage of his career.

It’s also claimed that along with West Ham, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Leicester City and Arsenal are also tracking the player.

Sa joined Olympiacos from Porto on a season long loan deal last season and after he impressed with his performances, the Greek club signed him permanently for €2.5m.

His contract at the Giorgos Karaiskakis Stadium will expire at the end of June 2023.
