For the past couple of days, the English and Portuguese media were full of stories saying Felipe Anderson could soon be back at West Ham.

It started with outlets from England reporting the Hammers’ wish to cut short his loan spell at Porto, and the response from Portugal was that the Dragons wouldn’t make his departure difficult.

Now newspaper Record managed to speak to the player’s sister and agent Juliana Gomes, and even though she didn’t want to give them an interview, the contact was enough to say the move isn’t in advanced stages.

Speaking to Record, all the agent said was that she hasn’t been contacted by Porto or by West Ham regarding the end of the loan.

Record points out that West Ham may indeed look for a place where Felipe Anderson can play more, and Porto could make his departure easier as they’re close to signing Pepê from Grêmio this month.

Since joining the Dragons in October, Felipe Anderson only made five appearances for the club and hasn’t even been called up for squads recently.
