Östersund forward Saman Ghoddos has told Fotboll Direkt he would like a move in the next window because he believes it’s the best time to get a transfer.
The 24 year old has been linked with West Bromwich Albion in recent weeks after impressing for OFK in this season’s Europa League.
In an interview with the Swedish football outlet, Ghoddos was quizzed about leaving OFK: “The goal is to move this summer. It’s the best window, but there’s no stress either. What happens, happens.”
West Brom made their intentions known when they watched the Iran international play against Arsenal in the Europa League last month.
The Iran international impressed in the second leg at the Emirates, and his two assists earned his side a shock 2-1 win over Arsene Wenger’s side.
The Premier League side have struggled for goals this season, which hasn’t helped their cause to retain their top-flight status.
Ghoddos has gone on record in the past to say he’d like to play in a major European league, so West Brom remaining in the Premier League could have a bearing on signing the player.
