For the past couple of months, we’ve been covering several stories about how things haven’t been very good for future Watford signing João Pedro at Fluminense.

The youngster has been on a long goal drought, and fans have not been very happy with his behaviour off the pitch.

A lot of this has been related to his transfer to Vicarage Road, since he’s set to be moving to the Premier League side at the start of the next year.

Now it seems the situation has reached its peak, because, as reported by Globo Esporte, the 18-year-old has been left out of the squad that will face São Paulo and Inter in the next couple of games.

It’s claimed João Pedro is ‘out of focus’ and hasn’t been doing well in training. The fact that he hasn’t scored a goal in 12 matches is also weighing against him.

Globo Esporte also writes the player has been complaining about pain in his ankle and in his groin, but the exams haven’t shown any kind of injury.

Fluminense are fighting against relegation so they don’t really have time for that kind of problem, especially because the player will leave the club in a couple of months.

Now Watford better hope his attitude changes when he arrives in England.
