Watford are refusing to listen to any offers for Cucho Hernandez, according to reports from the Spanish media.
Marca is the outlet bringing some news on the future of the striker, who’s having a season-long spell at Getafe and currently recovers from a foot injury.
Even though Hernandez is ruled out for the rest of the season, it’s said the La Liga side would like to negotiate to keep him for longer.
Watford, however, have other plans for him. They’re holding on for the end of the Championship campaign, as they believe that in case the club get promotion to the Premier League, he could be an important piece next season.
That’s why they won’t even hear what Getafe have to say. Marca highlights that Watford are a complicated club to negotiate with, recalling that the La Liga side couldn’t find a deal for the comeback of Dimitro Foulquier, even though they nearly had an agreement.
Cucho Hernandez joined Watford in 2017 and has been having several loan spells in Spain since then. Now it seems he could finally have the chance to prove himself for the Hornets.
