Leicester City star Youri Tielemans has hailed international teammate Kevin de Bruyne, revealing he tries to ‘gobble up info’ from the Manchester City man.

Tielemans has been one of the star performers for Leicester this season, playing a key role in their push for a Champions League spot once again.

It’s seen the 23-year-old quickly rise up in people’s estimations, with many now convinced the player will fulfil the huge potential he has shown from an early age.

Leicester have certainly been the beneficiaries of that so far, but Belgium also, with the midfielder also establishing himself in Roberto Martinez’s plans ahead of the European Championships this summer.

Tielemans finds himself in esteemed company when on duty with his country, the Red Devils boasting a squad full of internationally recognised stars.

One of those is Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne, who Tielemans admits he is always looking to learn from.

“No, that’s not how I am,” he told VoetbalKrant when asked if he ever asks for advice.

“Kevin obviously has enormous qualities, and I learn from him in training. He is one of the best midfielders in the world.

“I watch his movements as much as possible, and when he talks, I listen. I try as much as possible to gobble up info.”
