While we deal with many half-baked stories send a superstar to a number of huge teams, it’s also interesting when some of those stories are fiercely denied.

This is the case of a piece from Fichajes.com today, who claim Real Madrid are actually not interested in the signing of Chelsea star N’Golo Kanté.

The website features an article claiming that despite recent rumours regarding the Galacticos’ chase for the midfielder, the club are actually not evaluating the transfer.

It’s said that Kanté’s age, along with his big salary at Chelsea, makes him a ‘utopia’ for the Santiago Bernabeu side this summer.

Fichajes writes that Real Madrid are actually more interested in the signing of young talents such as Aurelien Tchouameni and Ryan Gravenberch, meaning the door is ‘closed’ for Kante, who’s just turned 31.

The report also points out that Chelsea have many ‘incognitos’ for the upcoming transfer market, as besides the departures of Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger for free, there are other players who could leave the Stamford Bridge.

That, and the fact they can’t currently buy or sell anyone.
