Tottenham are ‘at the window’ for Paulo Dybala this summer as he gears up to leave Juventus on a free transfer.

That’s according to journalist Niccolo Ceccarini, who says that there will be a ‘phase of waiting’ before the player’s future is decided.

Juventus announced earlier this week that Dybala is set to leave the club on a free transfer after new efforts to renew his contract, which expires this summer, came to nothing.

That announcement was essentially a siren to the rest of Europe, and there are clubs who are lining up to try and secure his signature.

Tottenham have been named among the Argentine’s potential suitors as director of football. Fabio Paratici is the man who signed him for Juventus and was key to that deal.

It is, therefore, felt they could try and bring him to London, and several reports over the last few days have insisted that they are ‘on him’.

Ceccarini backs that up, stating, ‘even Tottenham are at the window’ alongside the likes of Atletico Madrid.

What this means isn’t made clear, but the suggestion is that they’re simply on the outside looking in and thinking about a deal rather than committing to anything concrete at this moment in time.

They’ll have to wait on that front anyway as there is a ‘phase of waiting’ before Dybala will decide his future anyway.

There is certainly a growing sense that Tottenham will put themselves in the picture for his signature, though, with Paratici likely to be key to their hopes of pulling it off.
