Tottenham will be relieved after ‘huge blow’ to player doesn’t appear to be serious injury

Tottenham Hotspur can now be relieved about Lucas Bergvall’s physical situation.

When playing for Sweden’s U-21 side against Macedonia this week, the player picked up a knock and had to be substituted in the second half.

Fotboll Direkt now shares a story pointing out that after that ‘tough blow’, everything is fine with the youngster.

It’s said that even though those who were watching the match had ‘their hearts probably sank into their throats’, the future Tottenham player is fine and should be available to play for his club Djurgarden soon.

Club coach Thomas Lagerlöf is quoted saying: “It was a big blow, but there is hope that he will be available on Monday in any case.”

The manager is referring to the tough league match against IFK Gothenburg they have next.

Bergvall should then continue with his season at Djurgarden, where he has three goals and four assists in six appearances, as he shows all his potential prior to the move to Tottenham.
