Turkish newspaper Aksam claim Tottenham are considering signing AC Milan’s Hakan Calhanoglu in this transfer window.
The Turkey international has recently been struggling to get regular game time with the Serie A side and could leave the San Siro to make a fresh start ahead of Euro 2020.
Aksam report Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho wants to replace Christian Eriksen with the 25 year old. The Denmark international will be out of contract with the Premier League side in the summer and there are claims he’s on the verge of a move to Inter Milan.
Calhanoglu’s contract with AC Milan will expire at the end of next season and the Italian club could look to sell him before he joins another club on a free transfer or moves for a cut-price fee.
The former Bayer Leverkusen player has made 18 appearances for his club in Serie A this season and scored two goals.
