When Tottenham Hotspur star Richarlison claimed he needed psychological help due to personal problems, he sometimes mentioned issues with people close to him.
The Brazilian media had already revealed that the player broke ties with his agent Renato Velasco, and his situation has got a lot better since then.
Today, outlet UOL features a story that explains the whole scenario, bringing all the factors as to why Richarlison no longer speaks to his former representative.
The agent is also accused of getting more from Richarlison’s salary than it’s allowed by FIFA, who says the limit is 10%. He was reportedly getting more than double.
Velasco and his family used to live with Richarlison in England, and when the Tottenham player found out about the ‘betrayal’, he threw them out of the house.
Only Velasco’s ex-wife ended up staying for a little longer, as they had a ‘mother and son relationship’, but ended up leaving as well.
UOL says player and agent still have a contract, but there’s no longer a relationship between them.
Richarlison is said to be getting the help from former Tottenham goalkeeper Gomes, whom he got to know when playing for Watford.
