Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte wants to strengthen his side’s left-back/wing-back position by signing Villarreal’s Pervis Estupiñán.

However, Spurs must first get rid of Sergio Reguilón before making an approach for Unai Emery’s man.

The 25-year-old has been left out of the north London club’s squad for their pre-season trip to South Korea, which is likely because he is not included in Conte’s plans at Tottenham.

It has been stated Sevilla could be an option for the left-back this summer, and his chances of returning to his old club improved after they allowed Ludwig Augustinsson to complete a loan move to Aston Villa.

AS state the Augustinsson exit has ‘opened the door’ for the Spain international to arrive at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.

The former Real Madrid man is the preferred choice for the La Liga side’s sporting director, Monchi, but Sevilla are not alone as there are other ‘very important clubs’ in the picture to take the player.

It’s claimed these unnamed ‘very important clubs’ have made offers to Reguilón, but the one that ‘seduces him the most’ is from Sevilla.

Conte and Tottenham will be waiting for the Spaniard to move elsewhere so that it can allow them to bring in Estupiñán in the summer window.
