As predicted on Wednesday, Tanguy Ndombele will be a Napoli player in the next few days, if not by the end of the day.
Claims from Italy emerged that the Tottenham player, who is out of favour under Antonio Conte, would be having his medical on Thursday, and that appears to have been correct.
The news comes from France, as RMC Sport are reporting that Ndombele has ‘taken a plane’ this morning to head to Italy.
There have been hints from the Italian media that Napoli have no intention of ever triggering that clause and giving Tottenham the money, but we’ll have to wait and see about that.
Another bit of information given to us by RMC Sport is that Ndombele has also already chosen the shirt number he will wear in Serie A, which is number 91.
That’s a little nod to the department in France where the Tottenham midfielder was born, as Longjumeau is in Essone, where the postcode is… 91.
