It appears that there are some very important developments now taking place behind the scenes at Tottenham.

That comes from Sky Sport Germany, who took to Twitter via their journalist Florian Plettenberg to bring the latest on what is going on at Spurs and their pursuit of Julian Nagelsmann.

The reporter explains that Tottenham and Daniel Levy are ‘pushing more and more’, and ‘further talks took place in the last days’.

It’s made clear that the London club are a ‘serious option’ for the German manager, who is currently without a job after being sacked by Bayern Munich and subsequently replaced by Thomas Tuchel.

The problem for Nagelsmann is he wants to know how much ‘power’ he will have on the transfer market, especially as the identity of Fabio Paratici’s successor remains unclear.

This isn’t the end of it, though, as ‘more talks will follow’, but it’s made very clear that the German manager wants to take time to make the right choice for his career, as he appears to still be reeling a bit from what went on in Bavaria earlier on in the year.
