Tottenham Hotspur have set their sights on Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo to bolster their defence in the summer transfer window.

The centre-back made 29 appearances last season, which includes 23 league starts. His form has seen Spurs take notice and they are ‘keenly interested’ in securing his services.

That’s according to Foot Mercato, who state Tottenham have already taken the first step to sign the Fulham defender.

It’s claimed Ange Postecoglou’s side have made contact with the 25-year-old’s agent over a potential deal.

The report adds Tottenham plan to contact Marco Silva’s side ‘soon’ to find out about the conditions needed to acquire the Manchester-born defender’s signature.

Earlier this year, Adarabioyo signed a new deal until 2024, meaning the current window could be Fulham’s last big chance to cash in from his sale.

Adarabioyo isn’t the only centre-back on Spurs’ agenda. On Monday, Barcelona president Joan Laporta said he’s hopeful an agreement can be reached with Tottenham for the sale of Clément Lenglet, who spent last season on loan at the north London club.
