Crystal Palace, Everton and West Ham are all showing an interest in AC Milan’s Charles de Ketelaere this summer.

That’s according to Pianeta Milan, who say the Premier League trio are potential options for the Belgian should he leave the Serie A giants.

They explain that De Ketelaere may leave Milan this summer after a disastrous first season at the club following a big move last summer.

They paid €35m to sign him from Club Brugge but he managed just one assist and no goals in 40 games and found himself out of the side by the end of the season.

Milan had been hoping he could revive himself at the European U21 Championships but that didn’t happen, with him struggling as much for Belgium as he has for Milan.

With the Italians now chasing Samuel Chukwueze and Christian Pulisic, players who would take De Ketelaere’s space in the team, there is a belief he could be moved on, even in a loan deal.

Crystal Palace, Everton and West Ham have ‘asked his entourage for information’ ahead of a possible move in the coming weeks.

They know that said agents ‘would push’ for the player to leave the San Siro this summer as they don’t want their player sat on the bench next season and therefore missing the Euros in Germany.

Milan value De Ketelaere at €30m if they are to sanction a permanent exit, but there is a belief they ‘could sell him on loan’ as well if the offer is right.

That would certainly suit Everton, who are in desperate need of additions up front but would struggle with the finances for such a big permanent transfer.

Crystal Palace and West Ham are better off financially, although any move from the latter is likely to be dependent on what happens with Gianluca Scamacca.

He’s expected to leave at some point this summer and that would give the Hammers funds to source a replacement, and contacts with De Ketelaere’s agents are already underway it seems.
