It’s no secret that with Dele Alli pushed to one side and the rumours circulating in January of a Christian Eriksen return, José Mourinho would like a new central midfielder at Tottenham.

He has some options in the form of Tanguy Ndombélé, Moussa Sissoko, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg and Harry Winks, while Giovani Lo Celso recovers from a hamstring issues, but it’s not enough.

There is the feeling that an extra body could go a long way, which is why there’s an interest in ex-Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey.

Yes, that’s the very same Aaron Ramsey who occasionally used to walk the team out at the Emirates as captain, and who is now on the periphery at Juventus under Andrea Pirlo.

Starting less than half the games in the Premier League, the Welshman could be on his way out in the summer, according to TuttoJuve, and both Spurs and Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested.

The website claim that as an exclusive, and explain the Serie A champions ‘could be willing to sell him to earn a figure of €10-15m’.

In the process, they would lighten the wage budget considerably, as they aim to try and sign Sassuolo’s Manuel Locatelli.

We’ll keep an eye on this, and it will be interesting to see if Ramsey wants to join a club that so happens to be his Arsenal’s arch rivals.
