There’s been some rumours building in Italy, since Antonio Conte’s exit, suggesting Dejan Kulusevski could return to Juventus in the summer.

The claims, which aren’t widespread, tend to be part of a larger rumour which would see Conte return to managing Juventus in the summer window.

Experienced Italian journalist Niccolo Ceccarini has now pretty much dismissed that. In his column for TMW he lays out the conditions needed to turn Kulusevski’s loan stay at Tottenham into a permanent move.

Those conditions may well be met, but Ceccarini insists it doesn’t matter, because Spurs will buy the Sweden international ‘anyway’.

Regardless of what happens in the coming weeks, the player’s participation and whether Tottenham qualify for the Champions League, they’re set to pay the €35m needed to complete the move.

That’s on top of the €10m loan fee they paid to Juventus, taking the total value of the transfer to €45m.

Kulusevski has played 27 matches for the Premier League club this season, scoring two goals and adding seven assists.
