French international Moussa Sissoko has had a difficult start to the season following his €35m move to Tottenham Hotspur from Newcastle United.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, recently, publicly criticised Sissoko saying he must work hard to prove he deserves a place in the team.

In the summer, Sissoko was linked with a move to a number of clubs, including Real Madrid, Juventus, Inter Milan and Everton.

On Wednesday, Italian website Gazzetta dello Sport claim Juventus want to sign a midfielder in January, and have a number of targets.

Gazzetta say Sissoko has reappeared as a target for Juventus, but there isn’t much information on whether there has been an approach from the Serie A champions or an offer being made.

Recently another Italian website Calciomercato claimed Everton, Inter, Milan Juventus, Sevilla and Paris-Saint Germain are monitoring his situation.

It was reported Juventus would be keen on a loan deal, with an option to make it permanent should the player make a certain number of appearances.

It’d be interesting to see if Tottenham would want to get rid of Sissoko so quickly, or give him the chance to turn things around.
