According to an exclusive report from Sporun Dibi, Tottenham Hotpsur and Atalanta are vying for Lille’s Mehmet Zeki Celik.
The Turkish right-back has been in impressive form for the French side since he joined them from second-tier club Istanbulspor in 2018.
Sporun Dibi claim Atalanta and Tottenham are the most serious clubs who are showing interest in Celik, but there are other European teams that are also in the race for him.
It’s reported Lille are asking €20-25m for the 23 year old, and there’s a significant chance that he could leave the club before the new season starts.
Lille only paid €2.5m to sign the player, and he has then made 68 appearances, providing eight assists. Therefore, the club stand to make a big profit having developed Celik further.
His contract with Lille will expire at the end of June 2023.
