Fanatik claim Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen wants a return to Fenerbahce, following his loan spell with the Turkish club last season.

The Turkish newspaper say the Netherlands international knows he’s unlikely to have a future at Tottenham, and may need to leave in order to get regular first team football.

Janssen spent last season on loan at Fenerbahce but injuries kept him out for almost four months, with him scoring just 4 league goals for the Yellow Canaries.

According to Fanatik, Janssen wants another season at Fenerbahce and he’s hoping he can be more of a success this time, confident he can push on after the injury.

Fenerbahce president Ali Y. Koc recently confirmed the former board paid €5m to get Janssen for a season long loan last year and said he’s not going to pay that much to bring the Tottenham player back.

With Harry Kane and Fernando Llorente ahead of him in the pecking order it’s likely Janssen will move on this summer. The Dutchman doesn’t seem to be in the long term plans of Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino and the player failed to impress in his debut season in the Premier League.
