Italian newspaper Tuttosport has a very short paragraph about the future of Inter Milan defender Diego Godin.
They only use a few words to say the Uruguayan defender could be leaving the Nerazzurri next summer, since a move to the Premier League is a possibility.
There are two clubs who get a mention, which are Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. And it seems it’s the Red Devils who are closer to landing him.
That’s because it’s said Spurs have ‘cooled down’ their interest in the 34-year-old, while the Old Trafford side still have him ‘in their notebook’.
Godin still has one more year of contract with Inter Milan, but it’s not said how much the Serie A giants would demand for his departure.
Actually, although there are a few outlets who’ve linked Godin to the likes of Man United and Tottenham, none of them seem to know his real price.
The Uruguayan is always mentioned as an experienced player who could be a cheap fix for both club’s defensive systems.
